Using a water filter pitcher instead of getting bottled water has helped my wallet.

Yeah, and it doesn't stop at just saving a few bucks. You start seeing all the other nonsense you buy out of habit. Suddenly you're saving money by accident.

Honestly, fewer bottles in the fridge cuts down on all that visual noise too.

Totally get what you mean about visual noise, it's weird how a cluttered fridge can stress you out. Jakewhite is right about those small wins adding up, but I'm curious when it stops feeling like a win and just becomes normal. Like, do you ever miss the convenience of just grabbing a bottle, or does that feeling go away completely?

That point about helping your wallet is so true! I see this everywhere now, where small swaps away from disposable things end up saving a ton. It starts with water pitchers but goes to bringing your own coffee or using cloth bags. Those few dollars here and there really add up over a whole year. It feels like a smart little win every time you avoid buying something you don't need!
