Had to pick between a pocket bujo and a full A5 for my travel setup

I spent like 3 hours at the stationery shop trying to decide. Ended up going with the pocket size because I wanted something I could actually fit in my jean pocket while walking through airports. It was super tight at first, I could barely fit my daily tasks. But after about two months I got used to writing smaller and now it feels totally normal. Kind of miss having room for those big mood trackers though. Has anyone else switched sizes and struggled at first?

Understand the struggle. Pocket size works if you don't use it for a lot of collections or trackers, it's more for rapid logging.

Got a pocket one and now I'm buying tiny pens to match.

Go ahead and lean into the tiny pen thing though, I actually think it makes the pocket setup way more fun. Half the charm of that size is how it forces you to be choosy about what you write down (which is honestly a good thing, not a bad one). I mean, if you're trying to do a full weekly spread in a pocket notebook you're going to hate your life, but for quick thoughts or a grocery list it's perfect. The mini pens are just the cherry on top of that whole "small and focused" vibe.
