I finally noticed my weekly spreads were making me feel worse, not better
For about six months, I was cramming every single task into tiny boxes on my weekly spread, trying to fit it all. I saw a picture of my friend's journal where she only had three main things listed for Monday, and it looked so calm. That's when it hit me: I was using my bujo like a stressful to-do list, not a tool to help me focus. I was trying to track everything, which just made me feel behind all the time. Now I'm trying to only put the big three tasks for each day. Has anyone else had to scale way back to make their journal actually useful?

Honestly, that system would make me feel lost. My brain needs to see everything written down or I'll forget it.

My memory's the same way, mianelson. I once tried to keep my whole week in my head and forgot my own dentist appointment.

Ever try just putting one big sticky note on your fridge? I gave up on fancy planners and that one note for my keys and appointments actually stuck.
