Pro tip: double check your index before you start a new month
I spent like 4 hours last weekend setting up my November spread and realized i had the wrong page numbers for the future log. Had to rip out 3 pages and redo the whole thing because my index was off by 5 numbers. Now im paranoid and counting every single page before i draw a single line. Has anyone else had their whole month thrown off by a number mistake like that?

Flip your notebook upside down and count from the back cover to the front before you start. That catches any offset from when someone flipped pages in the middle of the night half asleep. I started doing that after I realized my last index was wrong because I forgot I'd added a glued in envelope on page 22 that took up two page numbers by accident.

Man I feel that pain deep down. Nothing worse than thinking you've got your numbering straight only to find out later something threw it all off and you gotta go back and redo half your index.
