Thought using a ruler for spreads was a waste of time until my March pages looked way cleaner.
My friend in Chicago said to just try it for one month. Now I can't go back to freehand lines. Anyone else have a simple tool that made a big difference?

My old Chicago apartment had the worst trimmer, it was basically a plastic pizza cutter. It shredded a photo of my friend's dog into confetti. I had to tell her the dog just ran away. The idea of a cheap trimmer actually working feels like finding a twenty in a winter coat.

Yeah I was in the same boat, thought rulers were for people who had too much time. "Just try it for one month" is exactly what my buddy told me and now I grab one every time. It's one of those things you don't realize you needed until you actually try it.

Honestly a cheap paper trimmer changed everything for making straight edges on photos.

Wait, but do you find it actually cuts through photo paper without tearing the edges? I tried one a while back and it kind of mangled a print, so I went back to using a metal ruler and a blade, which is a huge pain. Maybe I just had a really bad trimmer.
