Wrote my grocery list in a bullet journal for 90 days and the color coding broke my brain
I used to mock people who color code their dailies, but after watching a woman in Portland flip through 3 years of spreads to find her dog's heartworm meds in under 10 seconds, I bought 6 Stabilo pens. So now I'm curious, do you color code by task type or by area of life, and does it ever actually save you time?
The dog heartworm thing is what gets me every time. You sit there laughing at the pen people and then one of them pulls out a cure for heartworms like it's nothing and suddenly you're at the store buying Stabilos like a chump. I do it by area of life, bills get one color, chores get another, and honestly the color coding itself eats at least 10 minutes of my life every single day. Have I ever saved 10 minutes from it? No. But does my brain feel calm when the green pen means errands and the pink means "text your mom back"? Yes. So the time math is a total scam but the vibes are immaculate, and that's the real answer nobody wants to hear.
