A guy I trusted for 9 years told me at his wedding that I wasn't invited to the ceremony, only the reception
I drove 3 hours to Minneapolis for a wedding where I was told at the door that the ceremony was family only, even though I had been his roommate for 4 years and stood up at his first wedding. He pulled me aside outside the venue and said it was a numbers thing and not to take it personal. I stayed for the reception, shook his hand, and never called him again. Two other people from our old crew told me they got the same treatment that night. Has anyone else had a friend quietly downgrade your spot in their life without ever saying it out loud?
