Cut off my brother in March over $400 and I'd do it again tomorrow
Back in March my brother asked to borrow $400 for his car, swore he'd pay it back in two paychecks, and then went silent for six weeks while posting vacation pics from Gulf Shores. When I finally asked about it he called me greedy in front of our mom and said family shouldn't keep score. Here's my stance: the money was never the point, the disrespect was. I blocked his number that night and haven't looked back, and honestly my Sundays are way calmer now. People act like cutting off a sibling is some huge dramatic thing but sometimes it's just the quietest smartest move you can make. Has anyone else had to do this over something small that was really about something bigger?
