Paid $150 for a friendship app subscription, best money I ever wasted
I joined one of those apps that schedules friend hangouts after my best bud moved to Denver. The first meetup was a guy who brought his own spreadsheet ranking every taco place in town. We still talk weekly, but the app itself is just a calendar, so I could've done this for free. Anyone else pay for something stupid that accidentally worked out?

Hear me out though, did the app really do the work, or did you just get lucky with that taco guy? I paid for a similar thing and got three people who talked about crypto the whole time. You got a solid friend, but that's more about your luck than the calendar app doing anything special.
