Unpopular opinion: I was wrong about cutting off my cousin over a $200 loan
For 8 months I ignored every call from my cousin after he missed paying back $200, figured the bridge was ash for good. Then he showed up at my mom's house in Fresno in July with the cash in an envelope and a card from his AA group, and I felt like a jerk for writing him off. Now I'm stuck wondering if some bridges deserve one more look before you torch them. How do you all draw the line between protecting your peace and cutting too fast?
