Warning: that $65 'friendship contract' template pack was pure garbage
I bought this digital pack off Etsy last month that claimed to help you set boundaries with friends and family. Total waste. It was just a bunch of vague prompts like 'state your needs clearly' with zero actual scripts or scenarios. I was trying to cut off my cousin who kept borrowing money and never paying back, and I needed concrete wording. Ended up writing my own message in 10 minutes and it worked way better. Anyone else get scammed by these self-help template packs? What actually helped you draft that hard conversation?

Did you try asking for a refund on Etsy at least?

Honestly it's like 12 bucks, probably not worth the headache of fighting a seller over it. I'd just leave a review and move on.
