My band saw had a meltdown during a Saturday rush

I was breaking down a whole pork loin at the shop when the blade snapped and sent a chunk of fat flying into a customer's hair. Had to stop everything, apologize, and comp them a free rack of ribs while I spent 20 minutes swapping the blade. Anyone else have a tool fail at the worst possible moment?

Blade snap means you were pushing the meat too hard.

My buddy Tom snapped three blades in one shift last month at a local barbecue competition. He was trying to speed through a brisket that was way too cold from the cooler. The fat wasn't rendered at all and it was like cutting through a tire. Took him twice as long to finish. Ever had one of those days where you just can't win with the meat?

Who hasn't been there, right? I once snapped a blade on a pork shoulder, felt like a total goof.
