Hey everyone, bone chips in larger cuts can lead to serious complaints. His tip about feeling for rough spots caught one in a ribeye yesterday, and I avoided a big issue.

Yikes, bone chips can hide in fat too!

But isn't that super rare? Most of the time they're pretty easy to spot and remove during prep. Seems like a minor worry.

Ever had one of those tiny, clear bone bits that feels exactly like a grain of salt until you bite down? That's the sneaky one. I swear I found a piece last week that was hiding in a bit of gravy-soaked meat, totally invisible. My tooth found it the hard way. Guess I'm just lucky like that.
