Vent: That time a customer brought in a deer that was shot 3 days ago in August heat
Had a guy drop off a buck at the shop last Tuesday that had been sitting in his truck bed since Saturday, and when I opened it up the smell almost cleared out the whole shop, has anyone else dealt with people who don't understand basic field care?

Same honestly. My brain just sees a deal sign and instantly turns off all logic. Like I'm some kind of bargain hunting zombie. Just grab, pay, walk away. Then get home and wonder why I bought a lamp that doesn't even have a plug on it. So yeah, we're all guilty of this. At least you got a funny story out of it.

Laughing so I don't cry over here because honestly yeah you're not wrong. Like my broke self just sees a good deal and instantly goes into snatch mode without even checking the fine print. I'm out here acting like I'm on a game show where the buzzer goes off if I stop to think for two seconds. But hey at least I got a good story out of it and a free lesson in why you always peek inside before you pay.

@jadej50 yeah you're right, I should've checked. But when you see something for five bucks that usually costs forty, your brain just short circuits. I read somewhere that impulse buying hits the same dopamine receptors as winning a bet. So I guess I just got the rush without the reward this time.
