Can we talk about the $130 rice cooker that outlasted two cheap ones and a breakup
I bought a basic Zojirushi rice cooker for $130 back in 2019 after going through two $25 ones that each died in under a year. The cheap ones always had the same problem, the nonstick coating peeled off and then the heating element would act weird. The expensive one has been used about 4 times a week since then, so that's over 1,000 batches of rice, and the pot still looks new. The math hit me when I realized the two cheap cookers cost me $50 plus two replacement pots at $15 each. Anyone here have a small kitchen appliance that ended up paying for itself like that?
