My dad's old Coleman lantern outlasted the new one I bought twice
Last month I finally replaced my dad's Coleman lantern from the 80s with a fancy new LED model that cost $80, and it died after a week of normal camping use. So I dug the old one out of my garage, fired it up on the third pump, and it's been running like a champ ever since. Anyone else noticed that 'improved' versions of gear just mean cheaper parts?
