Rant: My neighbor lectured me for 20 minutes about why his $800 Yeti cooler was worth it while my $60 Igloo kept our beers cold just fine
He stood there in his driveway last July 4th, pointing at his Yeti like it was some kind of holy grail, but his ice was completely melted by 3pm while my cheap Igloo still had chunks floating at 8pm. Has anyone else noticed people just want to justify their expensive purchases and ignore the basics?

The holy grail" lol yeah my uncle has one of those fancy coolers he brings camping and acts like it's gonna last forever but the latch broke on day two. I've got a beat up Coleman that's been through like 4 family reunions and still holds ice for a solid day without any drama. People get crazy about brand names when the cheap stuff does the job just as good.

Wait, didn't your buddy Mike have that Yeti knockoff from the hardware store that literally fell apart after one weekend?
Funny thing is that cheap cooler still works somehow, even with the handle hanging off and the lid held shut with a bungee cord.
