Back in the day, we never rushed the glue-up on a face frame.
I keep seeing guys skip the dry clamp, and it shows in the racking six months later. How do you all handle your glue-up sequence now?

Skip the dry clamp if you want your face frames to look like a pretzel six months later, I guess. Idk, maybe some people enjoy that twisted modern art look. I mean, I've seen guys go straight to glue, throw on the clamps, and walk away like they just nailed it. Then a year later they're on here asking why their doors don't line up. It's almost like the extra five minutes of checking for racking is some huge sacrifice.

Yeah, I read an article a while back that said the dry clamp is basically your last chance to catch a twist before it's locked in with glue. I'll even mark the clamp positions with a pencil so I can get them back on fast when it counts. Skipping that step just seems like asking for trouble down the road.

Dry clamp every time, no shortcuts. That racking is a killer. What's your go-to clamp setup?
