I finally looked up the actual drawer slide load rating and it's way lower than I thought
A rep at the Springfield supply house mentioned most 100 lb rated slides are only tested with the weight spread out flat, so a heavy stack of plates near the front cuts that way down. Anyone else learned the hard way that a 100 lb slide isn't really 100 lbs?
