Please double check your tape measures before you cut

I was at a shop in Denver last week and someone's tape hook had bent a tiny bit, throwing off every cabinet face they cut by 1/16 inch for two days straight. Has anyone else caught a bad tape measure before it wrecked a project?

Are you sure it's always the tape measure though? I gotta push back a bit because @shane_hayes, I've seen how easy it is to blame the tool when it's usually the setup or the cut itself.
