That old hinge jig I've had since the '90s finally snapped today
Broke a 25 year old jig drilling hinge cups on a maple job here in Austin, and I had to eyeball the last 12 doors with a tape measure and a prayer, anyone else stubbornly hold onto ancient shop tools until they literally fall apart?
Thought I knew better for years until I saw this happen to a guy at the lumber yard. @the_max, your story is what finally made me buy a decent blade and check the belts before every cut, not after. Now I'm that annoying guy who unplugs the saw every time he walks away from it.
