Walked through an IKEA kitchen display and had a total 'how'd they do that' moment

I was just killing time in the Atlanta IKEA last weekend and I stopped dead in front of one of their kitchen setups. The drawer fronts were mitered at a 45 degree angle and I still can't figure out how they get the grain to wrap around that corner so perfectly. It took me about 10 minutes staring before my wife came and dragged me away. Has anyone ever tried doing that on a custom build and gotten it to look right?

Haha yeah that 'drunk carpenter' thing... I feel that. I tried a mitre fold on a small drawer once and the grain just... well it didn't wrap, it kind of exploded at the corner. Looked like I let a toddler with a crayon finish it. Took me three tries and I still ended up hiding it behind a cutting board.

Yeah I tried that once and my drawer ended up looking like a drunk carpenter built it.
