PSA: Calling the cancellation line beat the chat window by 40 minutes and got me a $30 credit
After 6 months of my bill creeping up from $65 to $94 with no plan change, I tried the online chat to cancel and got stuck with a bot loop for 25 minutes. Last Tuesday I called the retention number instead and had a real person in under 3 minutes. She moved me to a $60 plan and knocked $30 off the same bill without me even asking twice. The chat agent had offered me $5. Same company, same account, same day, two very different outcomes. Has anyone else noticed the callback option on the phone line works better than sitting on hold?
