Why does nobody talk about the $20 antenna that beat my $95 cable bill
I laughed when my neighbor in Boise told me to just get a cheap indoor antenna and drop cable. Two weeks later I finally grabbed a $20 one from the hardware store, mostly just to prove him wrong. Plugged it in, ran a scan, and pulled in 38 channels, including all the local sports I actually watch. Called the cable company the next day to cancel and the rep offered to knock $30 off, which honestly made me madder than the bill itself. My only issue now is the signal drops when it rains hard, so I have to wiggle the thing near the window. Has anyone found a spot that holds a signal in bad weather, or am I stuck doing the antenna dance every storm?
