Got a call for a no-signal issue at a house in Springfield and the fix was way too simple
I was up on a ladder checking the drop line at this old two-story, thinking it was a bad connection or maybe chewed cable. The homeowner said it just went out after a storm last Tuesday. After like 20 minutes of checking everything outside, I went in to test the wall plate and realized the coax was just loose in the back of the TV. Tightened it and the picture came right back. Ever have a job where you overthink it and the answer is stupid simple?

That's not really overthinking it though. Checking the drop first is just doing the job right. The simple fixes only look obvious after you've ruled out the hard stuff.
