My opinion on pre-terminated fiber changed after a 14-hour hospital run
I used to swear by field termination for every job, thought pre-terminated was for rookies. Then last month we did a 14-hour pull through an old hospital conduit in Cincinnati and the pre-terminated assemblies saved us completely. The factory polish beat anything we could do on site, especially in that cramped ceiling space, and we had zero rework on 48 strands. Has anyone else switched their stance after a brutal pull, or am I the only one who got converted?

Talked to a buddy who does hospital work in Columbus, same deal. He swore by field terminations until a night shift job where they couldn't get a ladder close enough to the rack, ended up having to redo half the runs twice. Now he orders pre-terminated for any job with tight ceilings or bad access, says it's the only way he sleeps at night after a long pull.
