My old dispatcher loved that feature when I got stuck in traffic on I-95. Saved me from having to explain a 30 minute delay over a wobbly Bluetooth connection.

Oh man, that's the dream right there. I'd kill for a boss who just quietly watched a dot on a map instead of blowing up my phone. Half the stress of being late is having to talk about it while you're still stuck. Let the little GPS icon tell the sad story for me.

On my old Denver to Colorado Springs run, I turned on live location in the company app. It cut my check-in calls by half during rush hour on I-25. The main office just watched the map instead of calling every time construction backed things up.
