That time a client's son shadowed me all day and asked why we don't just use Wi-Fi for everything
He was maybe 14 and dead serious about it, and after I showed him the 2% packet loss on his dad's gaming setup from a single plaster wall with metal lath, he just nodded and handed me the crimper without being asked the rest of the shift - has anyone else had a young person completely flip their view on wired vs wireless after seeing real test results?

Honestly, that moment with the crimper says everything. Love seeing a kid actually get it when you show them the proof instead of just telling them.

Did you catch that article in the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis about how immediate feedback sticks better than lectures... really made me think about my own training days.

Yeah, drewr15 hit it right - that crimper moment is the whole thing. I had a kid about that age shadow me once, same deal, thought wired was ancient tech. I showed him the latency spike when his mom started streaming Netflix while he was gaming. He went from rolling his eyes to asking if he could run the ethernet cable himself. That was five years ago, kid's in college now for networking. Sometimes you just gotta put the numbers in front of them and let the proof do the talking instead of trying to win an argument.
