The week I had to run 500 feet of coax through a crawlspace full of angry bees
This was in July, a job for a new build out in the country. The homeowner wanted the main box on the opposite side of the house from the street drop. I had to go under the house, and about 20 feet in, I hit a nest the size of a basketball. Got stung three times before I could back out. I know a lot of guys would have just walked away and called it a safety issue, but I suited up with extra gear from my truck, sealed off the area best I could, and finished the run. The customer was super thankful I stuck with it. Has anyone else had a job where you had to deal with something wild like that just to get the cable where it needed to go?

Man, bees are the worst kind of signal interference. Should've billed extra for the beekeeper add-on.

Signal interference" is putting it lightly. I read a story last week about a tech who found a full hive inside a dish mount. The customer just thought their internet was slow. That's a whole different job description once the protective gear comes out. I'd rather deal with bad wiring any day.

Caleb's right about the beekeeper fee, that's a service call upgrade for sure. Honestly, the real crime here is that the main box was on the wrong side of the house to begin with. Builders do that just to keep us on our toes. Suiting up and going back in is the kind of move that either gets you a great tip or a workers comp claim, no in between. Glad the customer actually appreciated it instead of just asking why it took so long.
