Just used vinegar to clean battery contacts, worked great
A little vinegar on a swab removes corrosion safely.

Yeah, that's such a good trick. I had an old TV remote that was totally dead last month, and the contacts were covered in that weird blue-green stuff. A little white vinegar on a cotton bud cleaned it right off and it clicked back on like nothing happened. Felt like a total win, saving a gadget from the trash. It's amazing what works with stuff you already have in the kitchen.

I always figured broken electronics needed special cleaners or tools. My watch with dead buttons proved me wrong after a dab of lemon juice brought it back to life. Now I see corrosion as just another kitchen stain to tackle. That little fix saved me fifty bucks and changed how I see every gadget that quits.

Guess my baking soda volcano fix didn't work like @shane_hayes' lemon juice trick.

Did you hear what my friend Sam did with his busted calculator? The buttons were all stuck and it had that same crusty green film inside. He poured some club soda on a rag and rubbed the circuits, just a dumb guess. And you know what? The thing lit up and started working again, like magic. We were all shocked that something so simple could fix it. Makes you wonder what else is sitting in our cabinets, right...
