That photographer from 2008 who taught me about light seals
Back when I worked at a shop in Austin, a wedding shooter brought in this beat-up Canon AE-1 with light leaks. He watched me cut new foam seals and asked why I bothered with the old stock. He said 'foam is foam until it isn't, temperature kills it faster than time.' I've kept a bag of black craft foam in my kit ever since. Anyone else have a customer who actually knew more than they let on?
