Vent: I finally counted my scrap drawer and hit 200 dead ribbon cables
I was cleaning out the shop cabinet in the back corner on Saturday and decided to actually tally the dead ribbon cables in the scrap drawer instead of just tossing them in. Got to 200 before I gave up counting. That's 200 cables I've been holding onto for a fix I keep saying I'll get to, and I can't even find the donor body I was saving half of them for. Turns out the drawer was so stuffed the latch stopped catching, which is how I noticed at all. What's the move here, strip the connectors and bin the rest, or am I about to regret dumping one that matches something I get in next month?
