Burned $120 on a 'all-weather' tent that leaked like a sieve.

First rain at Little Buffalo State Park and I woke up in a puddle. The seams weren't even sealed from the factory. Anyone else found a brand that actually works in a downpour?

That's a bad seam job from the factory... Eureka tents have never let me down in a real storm.

Everyone's focusing on the seam or trying to drain it, but nobody's mentioned how important it is to pitch the tent right the first time. If you don't stake the rainfly out with some tension on those corners, the water just pools up and finds any weak spot, bad seam or not.

Did you try turning the tent upside down to drain it?
