TIL my $15 rain fly stakes are why I woke up floating in a puddle at Lake Cascade
The cheap stakes pulled right out of the wet ground around 2am and my tent turned into a bathtub, so I swapped in 9 inch aluminum ones and stayed bone dry the next trip. Anyone got a stake they swear by for soft, muddy soil?
