Vent: My sleeping pad kept sliding off my tent floor in the Smokies
After a cold night on a slope, I put a square of that rubbery shelf liner under it, the kind from a dollar store. It actually held the pad in place perfectly for the whole weekend, no more waking up on the nylon. Anyone else have a cheap fix for gear that just won't stay put?

Try a small piece of that anti slip rug mat under your pad instead. It breathes a bit better than the solid shelf liner so you get less condensation. Works like a charm on slick tent floors.

That's a great fix, but careful with that liner trapping moisture under your pad.
