Got my campus free speech group to 50 members just by changing the meeting time

We were stuck at like 15 people for months because everyone complained about the 4pm slot conflicting with classes. Switched to 7pm on a Wednesday and now we have 50 showing up this semester. Anyone else find a simple logistics fix that made a huge difference?

Haha @martin.riley, I swapped my book club to Tuesdays from Sundays and suddenly everyone actually showed up too.

Ha, funny enough I tried the same thing with my D&D group... thought moving it from Saturday afternoon to Friday night would help, but instead everyone just stopped showing up because they were too tired from work. Guess it depends on the crowd. Logistics stuff like that is always way more important than I expect it to be.
