Just taped over a sign at my campus talk and got way more people to show up
Last month at my school in Austin, I put up 40 flyers for a free speech debate about a professor's canceled lecture, and almost nobody came. So I tried taping a plain sheet of paper over the school's official event board with just the words "we got shut down, come find out why" and 3 times as many students showed up asking questions. Is that just good marketing, or am I proving the point that campus speech only gets attention when it looks like a fight?
