Thirty days for that? What did the comment actually say? "Inciting violence" is a serious charge, it shouldn't be thrown around for just talking about a protest. Campus forums are getting way too quick with the ban hammer lately.

Appeal it right away and ask for the exact phrase they flagged. Sometimes the mods just see a hot button word and auto ban without reading the full context. Your friend needs to get the specific rule violation in writing to fight it.
