Check what the protest was actually about... the newsletter just called it a "disruption." Did they say anything to the people studying there, or was it just signs and yelling? Gray_morgan has a point about them moving things after, maybe they changed more than just the quiet zone.

Check if the library has a quiet study area set up now. Sometimes they move things around after stuff like that.

The campus newsletter said they finished the new quiet zone on the third floor last week. They added more soundproof panels and individual carrels. It might be worth checking out if you need a spot.
