Back in October 2019 when Ben Shapiro visited UC Davis, I expected chaos but instead saw students line up to ask real questions and the loudest disruption was just a group singing 'Let It Go' for 90 seconds.

Honestly it feels like the media has us all convinced that everyone is screaming at each other 24/7 when really most people just want to have a conversation. I see it at work all the time people with totally different views can still chat about the weather or find common ground on something simple like which drill bit works best. The loud voices get all the attention but the quiet civil stuff is what actually happens most days.

Keep at it @the_leo, you're seeing it right. I just act normal and let people bring up the tough stuff if they want, makes the whole day a hell of a lot smoother.
