Why does nobody talk about those 2 a.m. infomercial knife sets?
I lost $85 on that As Seen On TV knife block back in March. The blades went dull after maybe two weeks of normal use on tomatoes and bread. I mean, the infomercial showed them slicing through a shoe and a tin can, so I figured they'd handle a bagel. Now I'm back to my old $12 chef's knife from the grocery store that works way better. Is there any actually decent budget knife brand out there, or is that whole infomercial aisle just a trap for tired people like me?
