Coffee shop owner canceled for a bad take on unionizing, felt like overkill
I was at a local spot in Denver last week and the barista told me the owner posted something dumb about how unions 'ruin small businesses.' Two days later Yelp was flooded with 1 star reviews and someone started a petition. I get that the take was bad but doxxing the guy and getting him dropped from a supplier deal feels extreme. He apologized within 24 hours too. Has anyone else seen a small biz owner get nuked over a hot take that probably just needed a conversation instead?.

Yeah "probably just needed a conversation instead" is exactly it. People act like the first response to any bad opinion has to be a public execution instead of just talking to the guy.
