Saw a local artist get un-cancelled after 2 years
This painter in Portland got dragged for a joke tweet back in 2021. Lost all her gallery shows. Then last month her new mural went up and nobody cared about the old drama. Does public forgiveness actually exist or do people just forget?

Man, tell me about it. The internet's got the attention span of a gnat these days. You drop something, people look at it, then they're on to the next thing before you even finish your coffee. It's rough for anyone trying to build a following, I'll tell you that much. You gotta keep feeding the machine or they forget you exist.

Yeah "move on fast" is putting it lightly. I posted some drawings a while back and they got a nice amount of attention, then I put up a new batch two weeks later and crickets. It's like people only have room in their brain for one thing at a time.
