Saw a local baker get canceled over a gluten free mix-up and it felt so wrong
There's this small bakery in Portland called Butter and Flour, right? They accidentally used regular flour instead of gluten free in a batch of cookies last month. Someone posted about it online and within 24 hours the owner had 200 angry comments calling her careless and dangerous. I went back yesterday and she told me she almost shut down over it. Has anyone else seen small businesses get roasted for honest mistakes that weren't even malicious?
