I gave up on 5 shows in a row last year, now I finish almost everything I start on purpose
Last year I quit 5 shows in a row, all in the first 20 minutes, and felt like I was just wasting my evenings flipping around. In March I started a dumb rule for myself: give every new show 3 full episodes before I say drop it, saved or cancel. Since then I have finished 11 shows, and about 4 of them ended up being stuff I never would have stuck with back when I bailed so fast. It turns out a lot of pilots are just rough and the real show shows up in episode 3. Does anyone else here use a set number of episodes before deciding, or am I the only one who needs a rule to keep from quitting everything?
