Hot take: That $60 meal prep service was a total lifesaver until it wasn't

I was dead set against meal prep boxes for years, thought they were a waste. Tried Green Chef for a month after my shift schedule went crazy, and it actually worked great for the first two weeks. Then the third box arrived with wilted spinach and a missing protein pack, and customer service basically told me tough luck. Has anyone else had one of these services work great then fall apart on you?

Third week with EveryPlate I got a box that smelled like spoiled chicken right out the gate. They gave me a $5 credit for a $70 box, basically laughed at me. Idk these services are great until you actually need them.

That's the pattern with these subscription services @alicemurphy, they're fine until something actually goes wrong and then they vanish.
