My old boss said one thing at a bar in Toledo that I still think about, fair or not?
Back in 2019 I got let go from a crew for supposedly bad attitude, and a few nights later the manager who fired me saw me at a bar on Adams Street and said, 'You were never the problem, I just needed to cut someone and you were the newest.' Part of me says that's a fair call, new guy goes first, that's how it works. Other part says if I wasn't the problem, don't write me up for attitude and cost me a reference over it. Am I wrong for still being mad about how he handled it, or does the honest answer at the bar count for something?
