Tried the 'flip the can upside down' trick on a dented beef stew can and my landlord thinks I'm nuts
Had a dented can of beef stew sitting in the pantry for like 3 weeks and I remembered some guy on here saying to flip dented cans upside down for a day before opening so the sauce redistributes. Did it overnight on the kitchen counter and the stew came out way less watery than the last can from the same batch, honestly no clue if the flipping did anything or I just got lucky. Anyone else actually test this or am I just superstitious now about my tomato sauce cans too?
