DAE think those $15 resume review services are a scam? One in Columbus actually helped me
I always figured pay-by-the-page resume sites were just people running a spell checker and cashing in. Then a recruiter friend pushed me to try a $15 review through a small shop near Columbus, and the guy caught that my job dates overlapped by two months because I typed 2021 twice. He also cut my summary from six lines to two, and I got a callback on a warehouse supervisor job nine days later. Your mileage may vary since a buddy of mine paid $40 somewhere else and got nothing but a template back. Has anyone else found one of these cheap reviews that was actually worth it, or did I just get lucky?
