Just realized my entire portfolio was built on tools that are now getting discontinued
I put together this whole freelance graphic design portfolio using Adobe Spark and a few templates from a site I paid $200 for. Last week Adobe announced they're killing Spark and the template site went bankrupt out of nowhere. Now I've got to rebuild 30+ client examples from scratch before a big client meeting next month. Has anyone else had a whole platform just vanish on them and had to scramble to recreate their work?

Hear me out but maybe this is actually a blessing in disguise. Building everything on someone else's platform was always going to be a ticking time bomb, better it happened now than five years down the line when you've got a hundred projects to migrate. If I'm being blunt, paying for templates and Spark tools was never going to give you a portfolio that actually proves you can design things from scratch.

Last year I was all about cheap templates and fast builds, but you actually made me realize that's just renting someone else's work, not owning my skills. I'm seriously rethinking how I approach everything now.
